According to the UN Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee, its definition is as follows: violence and pressure exerted on another.” In the definition of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), it is defined as violent, criminal acts committed by individuals and/or groups inspired by or associated with designated foreign terrorist organizations or nations (state-sponsored). In addition, the internet and social media are seen as one of the most important reasons for the terrorist threat to evolve to an international dimension. In this context, international violent groups have developed a wide presence on the Internet through messaging platforms and online images, videos and publications. This facilitates the ability of groups to radicalize individuals who are open to extremist messages and recruit terrorist organizations.
